Preserving the architectural integrity of the historic structure
The Bank of the West – Pasadena Main Wealth Management project is a 4,199-square-foot tenant improvement located within a 1920s-era historic building in Pasadena, California. The renovation modernized the ground floor (approximately 3,800 square feet) and a portion of the basement (approximately 399 square feet), transforming the space into a refined wealth management environment while preserving the architectural integrity of the historic structure.
The design intent was to refresh the Bank of the West Wealth Management brand while remaining sensitive to the building’s deco-era facade and original interior elements, including custom finishes, doors, and windows. New finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and accessories were carefully selected to complement the historic fabric and enhance the overall spatial experience. The result is a contemporary wealth management environment that balances brand identity, regulatory compliance, and preservation within a landmark setting.
