Designed to align with the institution’s operational standards and brand identity
The Bank of the West – Brea De Novo project represents a new 4,227-square-foot interior tenant improvement located at 311 State College Boulevard in Brea, California. Delivered in collaboration with Bank of the West and New Ground, the project established a fully built-out retail banking environment aligned with the institution’s operational standards and brand identity.
The scope included a new vestibule addition of approximately 150 square feet and a new 35-square-foot ATM room addition, supporting secure access and client convenience. The branch interior features a lobby, private offices, conference room, ATM and ND areas, storage spaces, open staff work area, staff room, training room, janitor closet, and upgraded men’s and women’s restrooms. The layout was organized to balance public banking functions with secure back-of-house operations and staff efficiency.
RACAIA provided comprehensive Interior Architecture and Engineering services, including design development, architectural detailing, and full construction documentation. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems were coordinated to ensure technical integration and regulatory compliance.
The project progressed through permitting, bidding, and a four-month construction schedule with active construction observation services. RACAIA conducted regular site visits, reviewed contractor submittals and RFIs, and supported final inspections and closeout procedures.
The Brea De Novo branch demonstrates RACAIA’s ability to deliver fully coordinated new retail banking environments—integrating brand standards, engineering systems, and disciplined construction administration to produce a high-performance financial facility.
